Machinery Makeover - Typical Level 4 Refurbishment
- Motors Checked - Skimmed baked and lacquered
- Cooling system checked - Blocked pipes replaced, system cleaned
- Temperature control panel - upgraded, new internals
- New sturdy bases to match centreline of Extruder/Downstream
- Addition of gear pump to improve performance
- Addition of static mixer to improve thermal consistency
- Addition of Co-extrusion block to give multilayer facility AB, ABA, ABAC etc
- Addition or upgrade of Co-extruder to improve output, change of co-ex ratios etc
- Sheet Die - Alternative dies for thin or thick, wide or narrow sheet
- Stack rollers - Re-chrome and polish, replace rotary valves
- Downstream electrics and wiring refurbish
- Pump group checked - new seals and bearing as required
- Haul off rolls - recover rubber, check pneumatics
- Winder - jumbo winder for 1200mm diameter rolls or guillotine for thick sheet
