Recently we were pleased to present TransXL’s latest employee his Fire Warden (Fire Marshall) Training certificate. Luke joined the Company last year and has settled in well, becoming a valuable member of staff. The recent course is just part of his training. He is off next week for 3 days to complete his First Aid training.

As a Fire Warden, Luke will play an important role in helping us keep our workplace safe, ensuring everyone knows what to do should an alarm be raised and that evacuations are carried out quickly and calmly. The training covered both the practical and legal responsibilities that come with the role, along with how to spot issues early and report them before they become a risk.

We are always looking to strengthen our in-house capability, and it is great to see team members building skills that benefit everyone. Having trained Fire Wardens on site provides extra reassurance and helps us maintain the standards we expect across our operations.

Luke’s upcoming First Aid course will be another step in developing the right skills for the role and the workplace. Once completed, it will add to our cover during day-to-day activities and provide additional support if anyone becomes unwell or is injured while at work, until further medical assistance is available.
